Armchair Trip to Greece
Jet off to the scenic shores of Greece with this lovely menu of traditional Greek dishes polished to perfection using locally available ingredients.
Order of Work
- Make ice cream and freeze.
- Make Moussaka and refrigerate, ready to bake the next day.
- Make Baklava and refrigerate, ready to bake next day.
- Chill the wine.
On the Day
- Remove Moussaka and Baklava from the fridge. Bake Baklava and leave to cool.
- Set the table.
- Marinate cucumber, onion, etc for salad.
- Bake Moussaka.
- Prepare salad ingredients.
- Assemble salad.
- Before sitting down to eat, remove ice cream from freezer to soften a little.
