
Apple and Cranberry Relish
Mix all the ingredients together and simmer without a lid, stirring from time to time until the mixture is glossy and thickened. Serve on the side with chops. Also excellent with roast chicken.
Serves 4
YOU WILL NEED
- 2 apples, peeled and grated on a coarse grater
- ½ cup (50 g) dried cranberries
- 1 orange, zest and juice
- 1 cup (250 ml) red wine
- a squeeze of fresh lemon juice
- ¼ cup (60 ml) sugar
