A quick and wholesome dessert!

You will need

2 oranges
1 t (5 ml) cornflour
4 T (60 ml) brown sugar
½ t (2.5 ml) cinnamon
1 T (15 ml) butter, melted
4 bananas


Zest one orange and squeeze all the juice of the two oranges into frying pan. Stir in cornflour. Add orange zest, brown sugar, cinnamon and butter.

Bring to the boil and add bananas sliced in half lengthways.

Cook open until sauce has thickened and bananas have softened.

Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
