Braai & Grill Seasoning, BBQ OR Peri-Peri Marinade

You will need

8 – 10 chicken drumsticks
Ina Paarman’s Braai & Grill Seasoning
± ½ cup (125 ml) Ina Paarman’s BBQ or Peri-Peri Marinade

Ina’s Tip

The air fryer seems to have a cooler spot in the centre; therefore, it is best to position the drums bony sides to the centre and meaty sides out.

Drummie beauty tip

Turn each drumstick best side up. Stretch the skin to cover the meat underneath. Secure skin with a toothpick broken in half and peg in place to prevent the skin from shrinking during cooking.



Line basket with baking paper to catch all the juices.

Season the drumsticks generously with Braai & Grill Seasoning.

Preheat the air fryer to 180°C for a few minutes.

Place drumsticks in the air fryer basket on the paper, best sides down and bony ends towards the middle. Brush with marinade.

Cook for 12 minutes. Turn, best side up.

Brush with Marinade.

Cook for a final ± 10 minutes.

Serve with a salad.
