You will need
2 T (30 ml) butter
3 T (45 ml) soft brown sugar
4 – 5 golden delicious or starking apples, peeled and pipped
2 whole cloves
½ t (2.5 ml) Ina Paarman’s Seasoned Sea Salt Seasoning
squeeze of lemon juice
This apple mixture freezes brilliantly.
Melt the butter, add sugar and cook over high heat until liquified and golden brown.
Dice apples, add together with cloves. Cover with a lid and cook slowly for 10 minutes until the apples are soft but not squishy.
Add Seasoned Sea Salt and lemon juice. Can be pre-prepared and reheated.
