You will need
Butter all the bread slices on one side and turn them over on a clean tray.
Spread unbuttered sides with mayonnaise.
Toss the sliced onion with 1 t (5 ml) Ina Paarman’s Green Onion Seasoning and divide between six of the slices.
Top with chakalaka and cheese slices.
Place the remaining slices of bread on top, buttered side up.
Clamp them in a braai grid.
Braai over medium coals until the bread is golden and well toasted.
