Chip Chicken

Treat your family to this easily prepared dish. It is sure to become a firm favourite.


  • 8 chicken portions
  • Ina Paarman's Chicken Spice
  • 3 T (45 ml) butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 x 125 g packet cheese and onion chips

Adjust the oven rack to the middle position. Preheat the oven to 180°C.

Place the chicken portions skin side up in a single layer in an ovenproof dish. Season with Chicken Spice.

Add the crushed garlic to the melted butter and drizzle over the chicken.

Crush the chips with a rolling pin and sprinkle over the chicken.

Bake uncovered for about 1 hour until brown and cooked through.

Serve with Lentil Rice with Coriander and a green vegetable or salad.
