You will need
2 cups (500 ml) fresh full cream milk
200 g unsweetened dark chocolate
4 x 50 ml double shots of strong espresso
½ cup (125 ml) fresh cream, whipped
1 chocolate flake (optional)
Bring the milk to boiling point. Remove from the heat and add chocolate.
Leave to stand for 3 minutes.
Whip vigorously with a wire whisk to incorporate the melted chocolate.
Add the espresso to the chocolate milk and divide the mixture between 4 heatproof glass mugs.
Top with whipped cream, coffee beans and broken chocolate flake if using.
