Fish with Bacon
A lovely easy dish to put in the oven while you make the salad and set the table.
YOU WILL NEED
- 200-250 g fish fillet (with skin on), choose from Dorado, Yellow tail, Salmon trout or Hake
- 1 t (5 ml) Ina Paarman's Fish Spice
- 6 rashers of back bacon
Adjust the oven rack to the middle position. Preheat oven to 200°C.
Lay the fish on a rectangular buttered ovenproof platter, skin down. Season lightly with Fish Spice. Cover with bacon.
Bake for 20-25 minutes. When bacon is crispy, the fish will be done. Serve with an interesting salad and some Italian bread.
