Basil Pesto, Garlic & Herb Seasoning

You will need

1 long French loaf
125 g butter at room temperature
1 t (5 ml) Ina Paarman’s Garlic & Herb Seasoning
3 T (45 ml) Ina Paarman’s Basil Pesto

Method

Adjust the oven rack to the middle position and preheat the oven to 180ºC. Slice one French loaf at 1½ cm intervals, almost all the way through. Mash the soft butter, Seasoning and Basil Pesto together. Spread each slice with this flavourful mixture. Wrap the bread snugly in baking paper and heat through for 15-20 minutes. Serve hot.
