Graham’s Char-grilled Salad

An unusual salad, delicious dressed with the marinade from our Char-grilled Shallots. Graham likes to grill the lettuce and tomatoes on the braai.



Oil the lettuce halves lightly with olive oil and season with Vegetable Spice.

Char with the tomatoes on a hot griddle pan or on the braai.

Add to the salad platter, dress with shallot marinade while warm.

Lastly, add halved shallots and serve.

Also delicious as a starter with bread when serving a light main.
