Prosecco Punch with Rose Petals
A romantic drink, roll it out for Valentine’s Day or serve it at a small wedding.
YOU WILL NEED
- T (30 ml) sugar
- ¼ cup (60 ml) water
- 1 – 2 t (5 – 10 ml) rosewater
- ¼ cup (60 ml) gin or vodka
- 1 x 750 ml bottle prosecco or sparkling wine
- 2 cups (500 ml) soda water
- ice cubes, to serve
- rose petals, to serve
Place the sugar and water in a saucepan over low heat and cook, stirring, until the sugar has dissolved. Bring to the boil. Allow to cool completely. Measure rosewater, sugar syrup, gin, prosecco and soda water in a large jug. Add ice and stir to combine. Top with the rose petals and serve.
