A great way to save on washing up and time. Uncooked macaroni is mixed with the liquid ingredients and then baked. The real secret to the creamy texture of this recipe is our Cheese Sauce.

You will need

1½ cups (375 ml) dry elbow macaroni
2 t (10 ml) Ina Paarman’s Chicken Flavour Stock Powder
1 ½ cups (375 ml) boiling water
1 x 200 ml Ina Paarman’s Ready to Serve Cheese Sauce
¾ cup (180 ml) grated cheddar cheese
1 t (5 ml) Ina Paarman’s Chilli & Garlic Seasoning

Method

Preheat the air fryer to 180°C for a few minutes.

In a baking dish that fits your basket, combine macaroni, Stock Powder, water, Cheese Sauce, half the grated cheddar and Seasoning.

Stir to combine.

Place dish in the air fryer basket and cook for 13 minutes. Stir gently.

Sprinkle over remaining cheddar, then return the basket to the air fryer and cook for ± 10 minutes.

Leave to cool for 5 minutes before serving with a salad.

 

Oven Cooking
Prepare as above but increase the cooking times to 20 minutes and 15 minutes.
