
Quick Pasta with Basil Pesto
A quick and easy lunch. The Basil Pesto is very healthy and the cottage cheese provides protein.
Serves 3-4
YOU WILL NEED
Utensils
- measuring cup
- measuring spoons
- medium saucepan
- colander
- pair of scissors
- large spoon
Ingredients
- 6 cups (1 ½ litres) of water
- 3 cups (250 g) fun pasta, we used dinosaur shapes
- 1 T (15 ml) olive oil
- 1 t (5 ml) Ina Paarman’s Pasta Spice
- 125 g Ina Paarman’s Basil Pesto
- chunky cottage cheese
Method
Bring the water to the boil, add pasta and cook fast for 8 – 10 minutes or according to pack instructions. Drain in a colander. Return the pasta to the pot. Toss with oil, Pasta Spice and Basil Pesto.
Serve topped with a generous spoonful of cottage cheese.
