Hot dog rolls are ideal to make individual garlic breads. Instead of garlic we are flavouring the butter with our delicious Roasted Red Pepper Pesto. Try it, you will love it!

You will need

3 – 4 hotdog rolls
3 T (45 ml) butter, at room temperature
½ t (2.5 ml) Ina Paarman’s Garlic & Herb Seasoning
4 T (60 ml) Ina Paarman’s Roasted Red Pepper Pesto
baking paper and string


Slice the rolls ¾ of the way through into 1 cm slices.

Mash the butter with the Garlic & Herb Seasoning and Red Pepper Pesto.

Spread the butter mixture between the slices in the bread rolls.

Wrap rolls in baking paper.

Twist and tie the ends with string.

Cook on a slow heat on the griddle pan, turning regularly or place in the oven at 180°C for 12 – 15 minutes.

Allow each person to unwrap their own roll.
