
Swiss Style Muesli
Is there a better way to start your day than with a healthy, uncomplicated homemade Muesli? Oats, grated apple, honey and a side serving of fruit and yogurt – YUM!
Serves 4
YOU WILL NEED
- 1½ cups (120 g) oats
- pinch of salt
- 1½ cups (375 ml) apple juice
- 1 apple, unpeeled and grated
- 1 cup (250 ml) plain full cream yoghurt
- fresh fruit in season, we used pink grapefruit
- 2 T (30 ml) honey
Method
Soak the oats, seasoned lightly with a pinch of salt, overnight in the apple juice. Before serving, stir in grated apple. Serve topped with yoghurt and fresh fruit in season and drizzle with a little honey.
