Best Braai Menu

Make the most of Summer’s final fling with our stylish Braai Menu.

Serves 6

Bake the biscuits and keep in an airtight container. Decorate on the day.
Season and oil the meat, wrap tightly in cling film and refrigerate.
Stew the peaches, cover and refrigerate.

Chill the drinks
Prepare green bean and apple salads.
Micro-steam the butternut.
Light the fire.
Prepare the sandwiches.
Pipe the cookies with chocolate and prepare the fruit platter.
Place the butternut and meat on the braai, cover with lid and cook for 30 minutes.
Remove butternut and start basting the meat, cook until done.
Toast the sandwiches on the braai.
Rest the meat, carve and serve with room temperature butternut, sandwiches and salads.
Dust cookies with icing sugar and serve with fruit platter.
