Fireside Family Feast

Treat the family to this appetising and wholesome feast. Light the fire and pour a good glass of red wine. Spoil them with the delicious Pear and Rhubarb Dessert.

Serves 4-6

Cook Caramelised Apples, cover and refrigerate.
Cook Red Cabbage, cover and refrigerate.
Cook pears, rhubarb and ginger for dessert and refrigerate.

Set the table.
Mix the topping for the Pear Pudding and spoon it over the fruit in pie dishes. Leave to stand at room temperature. Bake 15 minutes before dinner and serve hot. Freeze extra dessert when cold.
Prepare the mash potatoes and green vegetables, and reheat in the microwave before serving.
Prepare and cook pork chops.
Reheat cabbage and apples in the microwave.
