Both Janet and I have our birthdays in October. We always plan a weekend garden lunch to celebrate another year of good health, friends and fabulous food.
This month’s menu includes a lovely, homemade lemonade cocktail that can be served throughout the meal. As a main course we have chosen a no-nonsense chicken dish with rice and lentils, paired with a delicious Persian Yoghurt Salad, the combination is unbeatable. Pad out the meal with our colourful pink grapefruit salad with artichoke wedges, and finish off with a feather light spring dessert of meringues and strawberries.
